Nan Davies is a Welsh filmmaker who has produced multiple award-winning shorts that have screened at BAFTA and Academy Award qualifying festivals around the world. She studied film production at the New York Film Academy and in 2022 attended the Edinburgh International Film Festival Talent Lab. She recently completed the BFI Insight programme for emerging feature producers and is a BAFTA Connect member. 

Nan has developed and produced non-scripted formats for Channel 4 and the BBC and has produced high-budget TV commercials and content for brands including The BFI, The Brit Awards and Swarovski. She has produced and directed talent including Richard E. Grant, Jack Whitehall and Maya Jama. 

She’s drawn to stories that examine contemporary social themes through unique and inspiring characters and is passionate about putting Welsh stories on the screen. She is currently developing a slate of features through her Cardiff-based company One Wave Films.
